Information We DO NOT Collect:

• We do not collect personal identifying information (name, email, phone number)

• We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal data

• We do not collect location data

• We do not record or transmit audio from your microphone beyond the room calibration feature

• Room calibration audio is processed locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers

5. MICROPHONE ACCESS (ROOM CALIBRATION FEATURE)

Our room calibration feature requires microphone access to:

• Analyze ambient noise in your environment

• Detect acoustic resonances (room modes)

• Optimize audio playback for your space

Important:

• Audio analysis happens entirely on your device

• We do not record, store, or transmit any audio

• The microphone is only active during the 10-second calibration scan

• You can skip room calibration if you prefer not to grant microphone access

• Revoking microphone access does not affect other app features

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Shush does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. While the app includes a "baby sleep" mode, this feature is designed for parents to use for their infants. The app does not collect any data from or about children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

• Cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store

8. DATA RETENTION

• App preferences are stored locally on your device until you delete the app

• Server-side analytics data (if any) is retained for 12 months

• Subscription information is managed by Apple and subject to their retention policies

• Deleting the app removes all locally stored data
